“Music for those who need a brief pause in moments of
melancholy, offering a way to breathe and release those
emotions.”

The members write, compose, arrange, and produce their own
music. Rooted in R&B-based pop/rock, the band combines
trendy arrangements, emotional melodies, and Dohun’s
expressive vocals, continuing to expand can’t be blue’s unique
musical world. The 2024 debut track “Within the words i once
called love” surpassed 30 million streams/views.

Within two years of debut, can’t be blue was selected as one of
only two Korean acts for Spotify RADAR Korea 2026, signed a
distribution deal with Interscope Records (UMG), and received
an official invitation to Rock in Roma, Italy. In August 2026, the
band won 1st Place at Emergenza Festival Germany, the world’s
largest independent band competition, with guitarist Kim
Chaehyun also taking 1st Place in the Individual Performance
category. A five-member pop-rock band opening a new
chapter for K-bands.
